Rosie Lee was born March 15, 1961 to the late James and Irene Jackson. She was the fourth oldest of six children and the youngest girl. Mural passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Growing up in a family of six, Mural was always the playful one. She was known as the comedian of the family. She grew up in Lake Village and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1979. She later worked in the Lakeside High School District for over seven years until her death in 2018.
Murl was the mother of four children: Reginald Jackson (son), Dwight Greenlee, Jr. (son), Demarcus Greenlee (son) and her one and only daughter, Tierra Jackson.
Murl was preceded in death by her father, James Jackson, mother, Irene Jackson and one brother, Frank Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her life partner, Joe Curtis, three sons and one daughter as named above. She also leaves her sister, Delois Jackson of Lake Village, three brothers: Herman Jackson (Robin) of Bolingbrook, IL; Don Jackson of Lake Village; and Charles Jackson (Lavette) of Concord, NC; five grandchildren: Keon Jackson, Alauna Jackson, Da’moni Greenlee, Ayden McJoy, Jayice Greenlee, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
